Northwind Engineering was founded in 2017 by Drew Gertz after spending several years in the Danish wind industry at Siemens Wind Power and the Danish Technical University. We provide engineering support services to wind turbine OEMs in the form of loads modeling (aeroelastic and SLM for HAWTs, VAWTs, and exotic concepts), system conceptual design, design and analysis of components including blades, CFD, and measurements analysis.
